​November 4th of 2012.​

This was my first WWFF expedition on my own. However "expedition" is too much for this just an outside of the town operation, hi! This was just a test of my setup for possible field day style operations in future. As the area was already activated this summer by YL44WFF where I was oone of the OPs I had not inform about this activation. It was early afternoon when I left my home and therefore not too much time was left untill the dusk. Driving to the operations site I picked up some chanterelles which  were still growing even in November! Was much enough for my wife to make a chanterelle sauce for a next day dinner. As it was impossible to drive further inside of the area because of the road condition, I made a working position close to the high voltage line, just about 100m away from it. Thus I was concerned a bit for the interference this line could make to my RX ability, but I was wrong. There were no noises from it. The total time I spent on the air was a bit more than 2 hours and 120 QSOs were made. The very light rain hit the area when I already have dismantled and packed all the gear in my car.
